Years of underinvesting in the nation’s transportation infrastructure are apparent in congested roads, freight bottlenecks, airport delays and overcrowded or nonexistent public transit operations.

The Virtues of Investing in Transportation

In the climate of cut, cut, cut in Washington these days, aren’t there some things we should be investing in?  Like Infrastructure?  Here is a great example of the underproduction of public goods that our text cites as an important reason for having some type of government in the first place.
