Does Free Speech Have a Minimum Age?

Wow, the governor’s office in Kansas is busy tackling the most pressing issues of the day…like teens tweeting rude messages about elected officials.  Wait…what?  

 

Please read through this article and share with us what you think about this situation. Now, it is true that your freedom of speech is not without legitimate limitations, but is there a reasonable governmental purpose in censuring teenagers from expressing political opinions?  Do you even have free speech in an educational setting?  What limitations can be placed on that speech?  Is school different than work, or other public places?
