The Mysterious Affordable Care Act

A new poll from the Kaiser Family Foundation found that the number of Americans who understand what’s in the health care bill is declining.

The Affordable Care Act is Still a Mystery to Most Americans: good.is

This is quite typical of American  voters – emphatically denouncing a public policy because it “most certainly” does something to take away our liberty, when in fact, we don’t know that much about it.  Do you think the Founding Fathers were correct in being fearful of “excessive democracy?”   On the other hand, is it our leaders’ fault for gradually enacting such a significant policy or for not clearly informing us as to what is in the bill exactly?  Is this a government problem or a citizenship problem?  How would you seek to erode some of this ignorance?
