This article is from a week or so ago, but I think this a really interesting issue for discussion.  Is it acceptable for the Texas, a state of the United States to put to death a Mexican citizen who committed a crime here?  As you respond to this question, think about whether you would apply the same logic if the details were reversed.  Let’s say, a U.S. citizen is sentenced to death in another country.  Would your position remain unchanged in that hypothetical scenario?
