Should Videotaping the Police Really Be a Crime? – TIME.

 This article is from last year, but I think it raises a number of important issues about our civil liberties as we are thinking about the Constitution.  Yes, mankind entered into civil society to create order out of chaos, but should we not also expect that our security come at not too high a price?

Looking at the Bill of Rights, would you say there is a specific violation of rights?

Remember that the philosophical believes of figures like Thomas Jefferson suggested that our rights PRE-existed our government and that the purpose of our government was to secure those rights (see the Declaration of Independence).  So, within that context, what are your impressions about this practice as the number of states choosing to move in this direction is increasing?
